Want to give your orders a boost? 🚀
There are plenty of affiliates who would love to help you do just that! You can make this happen by using our affiliate system. Wonder how to set it up?
Simply follow the steps below, and you'll be ready to start working with affiliates.

Details of your Plug&Pay shop

First of all, it’s important to check your company details. In order to activate the affiliate system, your company information must be accurate and complete. You can check this via Settings > Details.

If any fields are incomplete or incorrectly filled out, we won’t be able to approve your shop for use with our affiliate system.

Connect a Payment Provider

Transactions cannot take place without a payment provider. You need to connect your shop to Mollie or Stripe before you shop can be active.
In addition, your shop must be taken out of test mode. You can check this via Settings > Payment Provider.

Affiliate System Settings

How does your affiliate system work? That’s entirely up to you! You can fully customise your affiliate setup according to your own preferences.
To get started, go to Affiliates > Settings.
The settings are divided across four tabs:

🔧 General: Here, you enter the general details of your business, such as your company logo and description. You are also able to specify whether affiliates are allowed to register themselves for your programme.

Preferences: Set your affiliate system preferences:

  • Choose whether affiliates are approved automatically or manually.

  • Decide whether the first or the last affiliate receives the commission.

  • Set the payout threshold; this is the minimum outstanding balance an affiliate must reach before they can be paid.

  • Define the minimum number of days before commissions become payable.

  • Choose to send a notification after each payout.

Define house rules that affiliates must follow. House rules are required in order to activate the affiliate system.

The redirect whitelist includes all domain names where commission can be earned. The moment you create a promotion link, the domain will automatically be added to this list.

❗️An affiliate cookie cannot be placed on a domain name that is not included in this list.

👥 Profiles: In this tab, you can create different profiles to assign to your affiliates. This allows you to control which products each affiliate is allowed to promote and what commissions they can earn.
You can set the cookie lifetime per profile and choose whether the commission is one-time or recurring (for subscriptions).
Within each profile, you are able to configure individual settings per product, giving you full flexibility in setting commission rates.

🔗 Promotional Links: Here, you can add all the links that your affiliates are allowed to promote. These links will be visible to your affiliates, allowing them to copy a unique tracking link from their account.
This unique link ensures the affiliate cookie is properly tracked.

Getting Started!

The final step in order to allow affiliates to register is to check that the toggle for ‘Allow registrations’ is switched on. You can do this via Affiliates > Settings > General.

Once you’ve completed all the steps above and your payment pages are live, you’re officially ready to start accepting your first affiliates! 🙌🏻
