The affiliate system is part of Plug&Pay Ultimate. Are you using Plug&Pay Lite or Premium? Upgrade to Plug&Pay Ultimate to use this feature!
The affiliate system allows others to help promote and sell your product or service. In return, you reward them with a commission. Because without your affiliates, you might never have reached those new customers! It’s a win for both sides!
The system offers plenty of features, but don’t worry, we’ve highlighted the most important ones to help you get started and begin attracting even more customers.
Commissions
Commissions
On this page, you’ll see an overview of all different types of commissions.
Under Label, you may see one of the following two options (if applicable):
Test indicates a test order.
Risk may appear for affiliates who have used their own affiliate link to purchase your product.
At the top, you'll find three tabs: Orders, Subscriptions, and Archive.
Under Orders, you'll see commissions from one-time purchases.
Under Subscriptions, you'll find commissions from recurring payments, such as subscriptions or instalment plans.
In the Archive, you'll find commissions that have been removed. You can remove a commission by clicking the three dots located to the right of each commission.
Next to each invoice number, you'll see a coloured dot. This dot can appear in different colours and indicates the status of that particular commission:
Green – Paid: You’ve already paid this commission to your affiliate.
Green with white dot – Released: This commission has been released. Once the affiliate's outstanding amount exceeds the (payout) threshold and you create a payout run, the affiliate can be paid and the dot will turn solid green.
Orange – Pending: The commission has been assigned but hasn’t been released yet. You can set the number of days after which a commission is released via Affiliates > Settings > Preferences.
For direct debit payments, the release is always after 60 days. This prevents chargebacks if the affiliate has already been paid.Red – Cancelled: The order payment was not completed (for example, due to a chargeback or an abandoned payment).
Sellers
Sellers
On this page, you will find an overview of all the sellers (affiliates) who have signed up for your Plug&Pay shop. When you open this page, you will immediately see All Affiliates. However, you can also categorise them as following:
Accepted: These are the affiliates who have been approved for your shop.
Pending: These are the affiliates who have signed up for your shop but have not yet been approved by you.
Rejected: These individuals have been declined by you and are not eligible to receive commission for selling your products.
Eligible for payout: These are the affiliates whose outstanding balance exceeds the payout threshold. These affiliates can therefore be included in the next payment run.
Next to each affiliate, you will see more information about the orders and commissions linked to their account:
Name: The name of the affiliate.
Sales: This is the number of orders placed through this affiliate.
Value: This is the total amount in orders generated via this affiliate. This helps you keep track of which affiliates have brought in the most revenue!
Commission: This is the total commission earned by this affiliate.
Pending: This is the commission that has been allocated to the affiliate but has not yet been released.
Outstanding: This is the commission that will be paid out if the affiliate is included in the next payment run.
Paid: This is the commission that has already been paid to the affiliate.
❗️Please note: A red credit card icon 💳 indicates that payment details are missing for the specified affiliate. As a result, you will not be able to pay this affiliate. Please ask the affiliate to provide their payment details. They can do this themselves via the Affiliate Dashboard.
You are also able to make exports of your affiliates. This gives you a clear overview of all account details in one place!
Detailed overview of an affiliate
If you want a detailed overview of a specific affiliate, you can click on their name to open these details. Here you will find their contact details, commissions, profile(status) and statistics.
Under Actions, you are able to decide whether to accept or reject someone as an affiliate. You can also choose which payment profile to link to the affiliate’s account. You can create such a profile via Affiliates > Settings > Profiles. A payment profile allows you to define what commission an affiliate receives for each type of product. This way, you can assign a specific payment profile to each affiliate. It is very useful if you want to differentiate what commission each affiliate earns.
