In this article, you will find all the essential information to publish your first
Plug&Pay checkout page π
Sign in
Before you get started, it is important to sign in to your Plug&Pay account.
Have you recently created a new Plug&Pay account? Please check your mail for your personal link to create your Plug&Pay site. Once you have clicked on the link and created your own account, you will be automatically signed in.
Not signed in yet? Please go to http://admin.plugandpay.com/login to sign in.
Enter your company details
First, it is important that you fill in your company details correctly. Please go to Settings > General data and fill in the details.
Under General data you fill in the address- and other needed company details. This ensures that the correct company details appears on the invoices you send to your customers.
Connect your payment provider
Plug&Pay supports both Mollie and Stripe as payment providers. These payment providers handle the actual payment transactions for orders processed via Plug&Pay.
Do you already have a Mollie or Stripe account? If so, you can connect it to your Plug&Pay website.
Don't have a Mollie or Stripe account yet? You'll need to create one first.
For European companies, Mollie is a widely used payment provider. πUnable to create a Mollie account for any reason? In that case, you can use Stripe.
Create your first product
Your checkout page naturally begins with a product that customers can purchase. To get started, create your first product by navigating to Products in the menu and clicking on "Create product."
Give your product a title, description and add an image if possible.
Under Price you set the standard price of the product, indicate if it is an one-time or a subscription (available from Premium) and last but not least you indicate if the standard price is included or excluded from the appropriate VAT.
Use AI to generate your first checkout page and landing page!
Create a checkout page
Since you have created your product, it is time to create a checkout page to actually sell the product! In the previous step, you had the possibility to generate a checkout page with AI. If you skipped this step, please go to Pages > Checkouts and click on Create checkout. Select the product for which you want to create the checkout page and give your page a name.
In the Content tab, you can set up everything that will be visible on your checkout page. This includes:
Title and description
Images and videos
Testimonials and USPs
Which payment methods you want to display
Fields you want to use
Test your checkout page
Now that you have created a product and checkout page, you can receive payments. Yes, really, it is that easy π€©
By default, your Plug&Pay environment is in test mode. This means that you can go through your checkout without actually having to make a payment yourself.
Ready to go live? Then disable test mode via Settings > Integrations > Payment provider, or click on the Test mode button.

Have you tested your checkout page, is everything working properly and are you ready to publish your checkout page?
Check that your checkout is enabled by going to the toggle switch in the settings under General on your checkout.
Check that test mode is disabled.
Check that your payment provider is connected and that you have enabled payment methods.
Did you pass all checks? Then you are ready to publish your checkout page! Share your checkout page URL and start receiving your first payments!
