Written by Joris Witkamp

The Plug&Pay marketplace brings affiliates and entrepreneurs together. In this article, you'll read what the marketplace is, what it's for and what it can do for you as an entrepreneur.

What is the Plug&Pay marketplace?

The marketplace is a place inside Plug&Pay where affiliates and entrepreneurs come together around products that affiliates can promote. As an entrepreneur, you add your offer to the marketplace so affiliates can find it and sign up to promote it. That means you don't have to go looking for affiliates yourself. They come to you.

Let's say you sell an online photography course. Add it to the marketplace and an affiliate with a photography community can discover your course, sign up, and promote it to exactly the right audience. You only pay commission when a sale is actually made.

What's in it for you?

The marketplace is meant as an extra sales channel for entrepreneurs who work with Plug&Pay. For you as an entrepreneur, it mainly comes down to reach: new affiliates without having to recruit them yourself, and an extra channel where you only pay when something sells.

For affiliates, the barrier to entry is low, since signing up to browse and promote products is free. And the lower that barrier, the more affiliates will take a look at your offer.

You stay in control of who promotes your products. Each affiliate's profile gives you the information you need to decide whether they're a good fit for your brand and whether you'll approve them.

How it works

You sign your Plug&Pay shop up for the marketplace and choose which products affiliates are allowed to promote. An affiliate can then find your product through the marketplace and sign up to your affiliate system.

Once you've approved them, your new affiliate can start selling your products. They earn commission on every sale, and you bring in revenue without lifting a finger.
