If you go to Settings > Analytics you can both adjust general analytics settings and connect Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
Analytics and source tracking are part of Plug&Pay Premium & Ultimate. Are you on Plug&Pay Lite? Upgrade to Premium or Ultimate to use this feature.
General
With the general settings you can choose which data is passed to the thank-you pages. This is important if you want to connect to another system, for example. Think of a connection between Plug&Pay and Google Analytics to measure sales.
Order value incl. VAT
If you enable this option, orders will be measured including VAT. If you disable this option, all orders will be measured excluding VAT. Most entrepreneurs will want to measure their orders excluding VAT, as that reflects their actual revenue. However, if you charge including VAT and want to see this in your Google Tag Manager or Facebook as well, enable this option.
Pass order value to thank-you page
If you enable this option, the order value will be passed to the thank-you page. This means you can measure the order value per sale in Google Tag Manager, Facebook, or a custom integration for example. The order value is relevant because it can differ per sale. Someone may or may not have purchased an order bump, which affects the order value.Pass name and email address to thank-you page
If you enable this option, the name and email address will also be passed to the thank-you page. You can use this option when you want to display a customer's name on a custom thank-you page. If you use the Plug&Pay thank-you page, this is not necessary.Send data encrypted to thank-you page
If you pass the name and email address to the thank-you page and use Facebook Ads, it is essential that you enable this option. This ensures the data is sent in encrypted form. If you do not enable this, Facebook will see that data is being passed and may show a notification that prohibited data is being forwarded. Make sure this option is enabled to prevent notifications from Facebook.Use specific order confirmation URL per checkout
When a customer purchases a product, they land on an order confirmation URL. You will see page views of this in Facebook, for example. If you disable this option, the same URL is used for all your checkouts. Based on the URL alone, you cannot see through which checkout a customer purchased a product, making it difficult to track which product was bought in Facebook. If you enable this option, the order confirmation URL will also contain the slug of the checkout. This allows you to see in Facebook that a purchase was made through a specific checkout.
For a connection with your Google Tag Manager account you need the GTM code.
To make a connection with your Google Analytics account you use the UA or G-code (depending on which version of Google Analytics you have).
βοΈ Please note: If you want to measure conversions, you need to set the Version to Advanced.
