Create a form in Plug&Pay to request your customer's details or to collect opt-ins. Then link the forms to your email marketing provider or Huddle to build a fully automated funnel!

Create a form

You can create a form in your Plug&Pay environment under Tools > Forms:

Click Create form and fill in a title, select a type and fill in a redirect URL.

The title and type are for your own recognition and will not be seen by visitors.
The redirect URL is the page where people will be sent after they have filled in the form. Do you want people to end up on a confirmation page after filling in the form? Create a landing page and set it up as a confirmation page. Then copy the URL and use it to redirect people from your form!

💡Want to make a profit? Expand your funnel by offering a low-priced product on your confirmation page. Add a checkout to the clickable buttons, maybe even alongside an order bump. After payment, you can even add an upsell. This way, you can turn free products into paying customers!

Select input fields

Once you have created the form, you can determine which input fields are shown on the form. The fields selected by default are: Email, First name and Surname.

You can add fields here, adjust the placeholder text and determine whether the fields are optional or required.

💡 Tip: Don't use too many fields. Every additional field that people can fill in causes people to drop out. Yes, even if it is an optional field ;-). Make sure the threshold for leaving your details is as low as possible!

View submissions

If you're using the form live on an opt-in page in Plug&Pay, it is of course time to view the entries! Open the form again and click on Entries. Here you can see who filled in your form, when and with which email address.

Integrations

Integrations allow you to make sure your form is the beginning of your funnel! You can integrate ActiveCampaign, Huddle and Zapier into your Plug&Pay. This allows you to automatically send an email from ActiveCampaign or assign an access level in Huddle after a form has been filled out.

What can you use forms with integrations for?

Need inspiration? You could use the forms here, for example:

Do you have a freebie, such as a free ebook?

Create an integration with your email marketing software so that people are automatically added to your email marketing list after filling in the form. This way, they will automatically receive your free ebook and you can send additional emails to warm up these visitors for your paid product.

Would you like people to try out your community or e-learning for free?

You can arrange a free trial period for your community or e-learning with a free trial period for your subscription. It is possible that the threshold is too high there and you want to make the entry threshold lower. If that's the case, you can also create a form as an opt-in, so that people only have to leave their name and email. You can then integrate with Huddle so that people automatically get an account in Huddle after filling in the form. Work with a temporary access level in Huddle so that the access expires automatically. Before the access expires, you can of course send several effective marketing emails to make sure that people buy the product :-)

Are you hosting a webinar and want to collect registrations easily?

The standard registration pages in webinar software are often not designed for maximum conversion, which is a real shame! Of course you want as many registrations as possible. You can use the landing pages within Plug&Pay to create a registration page. Then use our Zapier integration to automatically forward the registrations in the form to your webinar software.
