Adding a Timed Content block to your landing page

Using the Timed Content block on your Plug&Pay landing pages

Written by Bryan Schoenmaker

One of the most powerful online marketing techniques you can apply on your website is Timed Content. With Timed Content, you show a video on a page. Only once a set amount of time has passed does the visitor get the option to click on your call-to-action button.

Why should I use a Timed Content block?

A Timed Content block is a creative way to convince your visitor to make a purchase. You do this by recording a video in which you showcase your product so well that your visitor no longer has any doubt about buying it.

Adding a Timed Content block

Go to Pages > Landing pages and create a new landing page, or edit an existing one.

Add a new block to your page and choose Timed Content πŸ‘‡

In the menu on the left, you set when the content of your page should be shown. In this example, my content is shown 40 seconds after the start of the video ⏱️.

Adding video

Upload your video to YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia and paste the URL by selecting the video element.

You don't need a professional camera to record a video. You can shoot a video with your phone and use it as Timed Content!

All blocks that appear below the video are only shown after the set time has passed since the start of the video.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Use the Timed Content block to sell your one-click upsell!
