Videos are powerful tools to offer more value to your website or page. Thank your visitor after purchasing a product with a video message, or give an impression of your products or services πŸŽ₯.

In this article you will learn how to add a video to your landing pages.

❗ You cannot upload a video directly. You will first need to upload the video to YouTube or Vimeo before you can add the link to your landing page!

First, of course, you will need to create a landing page. You do this by going to Pages > Landing pages > Create page.

Adding a block with a video

Within the page builder there are blocks that contain a video. Choose one of them and add it to your landing page.

Alternatively, you can also add a video element to a block:

Setting up the video

Click on the video area to open the settings:

Under Video URL you enter the YouTube or Vimeo link. The video will appear immediately on your landing page:

The Do Not Track (DNT) setting prevents tracking pixels from this video from being forwarded without the user's consent to, for example, Google Tag Manager. This is necessary to keep your Google Ads running.

Disable the video controls when you do not want your visitor to be able to skip ahead. This is ideal when working with a Timed Content block.

The orientation determines the appearance of the video player.

ℹ️ YouTube Shorts cannot be added directly. To add a Shorts, you need to replace shorts/ in the URL with watch?v=.

Changing the appearance of the video

Click on the paint palette to adjust the design of the video:

Here you can adjust various properties, such as the size, border, shadow, and alignment of the video player.
