In this article, you’ll learn how to find a partner’s promotion links as an affiliate, how to create your own promotion link and where to view your link statistics. Every promotion link contains a referral ID that belongs to your affiliate account. That way, any sales that come in through your link are credited to you.
Finding a partner’s promotion links
In your affiliate dashboard, go to Partners. You’ll see a list of all the partners you’ve signed up to.
Click on a partner and open the Promotion links tab. Here you’ll find all the promotion links the partner has set up for you, for example to their website, an opt-in page or a checkout. Click the copy icon to copy a link.
Personal discount codes
Your partner can create unique discount codes that earn you commission. If a buyer uses your personal discount code, you’ll automatically receive commission. So the buyer doesn’t need to use your promotion link.
For which products do I receive commission?
Under Products, you will see an overview of your partner's products for which a commission has been set. On this page, you can also see the commission value and whether this commission is recurring or one-off!
ℹ️ The discount code can only be used for products the partner has selected.
Creating your own promotion link
Want to link to a page that isn’t in the partner’s list of promotion links? Then you can create your own link. You can do this for any page on the partner’s domain, such as a sales page or a checkout.
Go to the partner’s Promotion links tab. Under Custom link, first choose the right domain in the URL field. Then enter the page’s slug. The slug is the part of the URL that comes after the domain. Click the copy icon to copy your link.
For example, say you want to link to the page https://start.plugandpay.nl/event. Choose the domain start.plugandpay.nl/ and enter event as the slug.
❗ Please note: custom links aren’t saved in the list of promotion links, so make sure you save the link somewhere yourself.
Which products do I earn commission on?
Under Products, you’ll see an overview of your partner’s products that have commission set up. This page also shows the commission amount and whether it’s recurring or one-off.
Viewing your promotion link statistics
You can see how often your links are clicked under Statistics in the left-hand menu.
For each promotion link you’ve used, you’ll see the number of clicks and sales, the conversion rate and the commission earned.
