The checkout page is the core of your Plug&Pay website 🀩.
This article covers everything you need to know to create a checkout page for your product.

Have you already created a product?

Before you can set up a checkout page, you first need to create a product. If you haven't done this yet, please read our step-by-step article on creating a product here.

When creating a product, you can also generate a corresponding checkout page.

Creating a checkout page

To create a new checkout, go to Pages > Checkouts.

With the button Create checkout you can start setting up a new checkout page.

Select the product you want to use this checkout for and give your page a name. Choose which template and which theme you want to use. Click Next.

It is also possible to have your checkout generated by AI at step 2!
Consult the article below for more information πŸ‘‡

Edit checkout page

After creating your checkout page, it's time to complete it.

You will immediately see several tabs with more settings: General, Content, Design, Prices, Advanced, Upsells and Rules.

I recommend you start with the settings at General and Content: these are the most important parts. Once you have completed these settings, you will have a live checkout! You can look at the other settings later.

General

Change general details of your checkout page.

Content

Edit the text, images and other content of your checkout page.

Design

Determine the appearance of your checkout by choosing and setting a template and a theme.

Prices

Set a custom price, a dynamic price or let your customers pay what they want.

Advanced

Allow a selection of countries, determine VAT settings, or add JavaScript code.

Upsells

Under the Upsells tab, you can define the upsell flow of this checkout page. Offer even more products after payment to increase your average order value.

Rules

Connect your checkout page to external systems such as ActiveCampaign or add webhooks.
