If you would like an explanation of how to manually create an order, you've come to the right place! πŸ˜ƒ

It may happen that an order has not been received correctly in your Plug&Pay, or you want to create an order for someone without directing them to your checkout page.

No problem! You can easily create the order manually in your Plug&Pay :-)

❗ Note: A connection with Mollie or Stripe is required for manually creating an order.

How to manually create an order:

When you click on Sales > Orders in your Plug&Pay account, click the Create order + button.

You will see a page where you can fill in all the information about the customer's details and the order.

Details

Fill in all details about the customer as completely as possible under Details.

Order contents

Under Order contents fill in which product it concerns and the quantity of products. You can also set the shipping costs here. The shipping costs are set on the order, not per product.

With the new Customisable order line feature, you can also create manual orders with a custom field. This means you no longer need to select products that you previously created. Very handy if, for example, you need to quickly create a custom invoice or want to give your product a different description!

Emails & processing

Under the Emails & processing heading, you can indicate whether it is a test order or not. This is not necessary if you are in test mode - all orders are then test orders.

When you turn on automatic order confirmation with PDF invoice emailing, a standard order confirmation email with invoice will be sent to the customer. If you do not tick this, you can send the invoice to the customer manually yourself.

ℹ️ All webhooks and rules set up for the product will be executed automatically.

Payment details

Under Payment details you set how payment should be made.

If you want to authorise someone for the payment of the subscription, you can indicate this under Payment details via Authorisation. Make sure to fill in the correct name and IBAN number of this person!

If you want to send the invoice + payment link manually to the customer (i.e. when at emails & processing - Automatically email an order confirmation with PDF invoice, has been turned off), then you can find the payment link and invoice later in the order you have created (in the overview via Sales > Orders).

Finally, don't forget to click save! You will see that your most recently created order appears at the top of your full orders overview :-)
