In this article, you'll learn how to create a manual subscription in Plug&Pay. This is useful when you want to create a subscription for a customer without sending them to the checkout.

Navigate to Sales > Subscriptions and click Create subscription.

You'll land on a page where you fill in the customer details and order content.

Fill in the customer details as completely as possible.

Here you can set up the order details as you wish.

Company name/VAT ID: Optionally enter a company name and VAT ID here, and choose whether to reverse VAT for the order. Read more about reverse-charging VAT in the article Managing VAT settings.

Reference: Optionally add a reference to the order.

Labels: If desired, choose one or more labels here, or add a new label by typing it and pressing Enter.

Notes: Optionally add important notes to the manual order here.

Choose the product. You can only select products here that have been set up as a subscription.

Select the term: per month, quarterly or annually. Optionally adjust the price of the subscription.

Finally, choose the date of the first direct debit. No direct debits are carried out on the 31st of the month. If the subscription should end on a particular day, also choose the end date.

Indicate here whether this is a test order. Enable Automatically email an order confirmation with PDF invoice to send the invoice to the customer right away. If you leave this option off, you'll send the invoice manually later.

Set the payment method here. If you want to obtain a mandate from the customer for the subscription, choose Mandate and fill in the name and IBAN.

Finally, click 'Save' to create the subscription.
