In the Plug&Pay debt collection system you can automatically send reminders for an unpaid invoice. With Pingen you can also send these reminders in the form of a letter. Pingen is the service that actually sends the letter.
The debt collection system is part of Plug&Pay Ultimate. Are you using Plug&Pay Lite or Premium? Upgrade to Plug&Pay Ultimate to use this feature.
Creating an Account with Pingen
Pingen is a company that automatically sends PDFs via post. Plug&Pay automatically delivers the PDF of the reminder letter or notice of default. Pingen then sends this via post to the customer. Letters from Pingen are delivered in the Netherlands with PostNL and internationally with DHL.
You pay Pingen per letter. You can find the costs here: https://www.pingen.nl/nl/prijzen/

You will then need to enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and Organisation ID from Pingen.
To get these details, go to the top right in Pingen to open the following menu.
Here you choose API access.
On the API access page, click 'Create your first Developer app'.
When creating a Developer app, you then choose Client Credentials, give your app a name (for your own reference), and click Create Developer App:
Once you have created the Developer app, you will see your Client ID and Client Secret. Copy these and paste them into Plug&Pay!
Finally, you need your Organisation ID from Pingen. In Pingen you can find this on the Organisation management page.

Pingen is now connected to your Plug&Pay and you can send letters. Under Debtors > Settings you can see that letter post via Pingen is activated.
