Within Plug&Pay you can make a copy of your landing pages and export them to another Plug&Pay environment.
This is useful for:
Transferring your pages to another Plug&Pay environment
Sharing your pages as a template with fellow entrepreneurs
Using templates as a web designer for multiple environments
Selling templates to other Plug&Pay users
Export page
Navigate to Pages > Landing pages, click on the three dots and then on Export page to export the desired landing page.
In the pop-up you can choose to make the export temporary. If you move the slider, you will be given the option to set an expiry date. The link will no longer be usable after the expiry date. If you want to be able to share the link forever, leave the slider in the off position.
Click on Create link and copy the link that has been created for your landing page.
❗️Were changes made after the export link was created, but before the page was imported? Then these changes will be included in the import.
Which components are included in an export?
When you import a landing page, you're using a copy of the last saved version of this page.
Almost all of the page's content therefore remains intact. However, there are a few components that are not included in an export:
Theme
Theme
The set theme and colours are not applied. The imported page uses the default theme
Checkout links
Checkout links
Buttons that are directly linked to a checkout will not have a linked checkout because the same checkout does not exist in the new environment.
Forms
Forms
Linked Plug&Pay forms will not be copied because these do not exist in the new environment.
Custom scripts
Custom scripts
Inserted scripts, such as a link to your Calendly, are not included in an export.
Embed codes
Embed codes
Did you embed components using an embed code, such as a Typeform form or a Vimeo video? These components will not be included in the export.
Import page
Navigate to Pages > Landing pages to import the landing page. Click the Import page button at the top and paste the export link you received.
Click Import. You will see the following pop-up, where you can still edit the name of the page. Click Import again to import the page.
The imported landing page will now be placed among the other landing pages in this Plug&Pay environment. The original landing page will remain in the original environment.
ℹ️ Changes made to the imported page will not be applied to the original page.
Deleting an export link
The export link of a landing page can always be deleted. You can do this by clicking on the export button again next to the landing page 👇
Click the Delete button to permanently remove the export link.
ℹ️ Removing an export link does not remove the landing page if it has already been imported on another Plug&Pay site
