Upsells are available from Plug&Pay Premium. Using Plug&Pay Lite?
βUpgrade to Premium or Ultimate to use this feature.
βΉοΈ To offer an upsell, you need to activate SEPA direct debit and/or credit card as a payment method in Mollie/Stripe.
1. Create a landing page
The first step is to create a landing page on which you want to offer the one-click upsell. The landing page will function as an upsell page.
From the left menu, navigate to Pages > Landing pages and create a new page. Under the 'Upsell' tab, you will find templates created by us. These are practical because you don't have to add the 'Upsell button' yourself here.
β
Choose a template, name your page and - if you have one - select your branding. In the next step, you have the choice of having your page written by AI πͺ.
Customise your landing page as desired, save your changes, and publish the page.
Adding an upsell button
If you did not choose an 'Upsell' template, it is important that you add an upsell button to your landing page itself.
Add a new element to your page and select the Upsell button option.
βοΈWithout an upsell button, your one-click upsell won't work!
π‘Tip: Create an exit intent and link it to your upsell page
2. Create upsell and link landing page
If you haven't created an upsell yet and linked it to your checkout, please consult the article below π
In this step, do not forget to set the type to 'Landing page' and to select your landing page. Your upsell must also be linked to a checkout.
3. Testing the upsell
If all is well, you have followed all the steps nicely and your upsell will be displayed after payment is completed on your checkout. To be sure, it's always good to go through the process yourself π.
Open your checkout where the upsell has been added and place a test order.
Important to note is that you indicate your order as paid when testing, otherwise the upsell will not be shown.
The landing page with your offer will now be displayed. Using the upsell button, the customer can add your upsell to their order with just one click.
β
