With the direct integration between Plug&Pay and Huddle you can, among other things:
create a user in Huddle after an order for a product
create a user in Huddle after submitting a form
assign an access level to users in Huddle
If your customer already has a Huddle account, access to your environment and the chosen access level will automatically be granted to the existing Huddle account!

Granting Access After Purchasing a Product
Once the integration with Huddle has been set up, you can configure the Huddle integration per product. The integration works with rules.
With a rule on the product you determine what happens in Huddle when someone purchases this product. We do this at product level, because you want to determine per product what access a person should receive in your Huddle environment.
Go to the settings of your product in Plug&Pay and navigate to the Integrations tab.
Click Add Rule and give your rule a name.
For a one-time payment you can choose two triggers:
Invoice created: this rule is triggered as soon as an order is created.
Order paid: this rule is triggered as soon as an order is paid. This is relevant for one-click upsells and other direct debits, which are paid later than when the order is created.
For a subscription you can choose from three additional triggers:
Subscription cancelled: this rule is triggered at the moment the subscription is cancelled. The subscription is still active at that point but will expire at the next direct debit date.
Subscription ended: this rule is triggered when the subscription changes from active to inactive or ended.
Subscription started: this rule is triggered when the subscription becomes active.
Under 'Action', select Huddle and choose between assigning an access level or the option Add Huddle user only.
Which option you can choose is dependent on your Huddle subscription.
Huddle Premium & Ultimate
Access to all features.Huddle Lite
You will see that no access levels are found. This is correct, as this feature is not available in the Lite subscription. You will need to choose the option Add Huddle user only.
The access levels shown here are all the access levels created in your Huddle. You can select and save multiple access levels.
When you sell a subscription or instalment payment, you get an additional checkbox that can be enabled. This causes the rule to be executed at every automatic direct debit. This can be useful when you work with temporary access levels in Huddle.
After creating the rule, the overview shows which actions take place when someone purchases this product. In the example below, the access level 'Membership gold' is added as soon as an invoice is created. When the subscription ends, the access level 'Membership gold' will be removed again.
That is all you need to do! As soon as your customer purchases this product, a user will be created in Huddle and your customer will automatically receive the welcome email. π
βοΈ Please note: The Huddle welcome email is only sent to new Huddle users. If your customer already has a Huddle account, this email will not be sent again. No email is sent to notify that a new access level has been assigned either.
You can set this up yourself via an automated email. More information on how to send an automated email with MailBlue, for example, can be found in this article.
Granting Access After Submitting a Form
In addition to products, you can also set up an integration with Huddle for forms. With a rule on the form you determine what happens in Huddle when someone submits this form. Use this when you want to grant free access to your Huddle environment.
Open your form in the Plug&Pay admin environment and go to the Integrations tab.
Click Add Rule and give your rule a name. Add a new rule and give it a name. Choose Form submitted as the trigger.
Under 'Action', select Huddle and choose between assigning an access level or only adding a user.
Which option you can choose is dependent on your Huddle subscription.
