In this article, you'll read how a customer's instalment in Plug&Pay is built up and which actions you can carry out from within an instalment.
Viewing an instalment payment
Navigate to Sales > Instalments and click the number to open the instalment.
Editing an instalment payment
You'll see that your customer's instalment is made up of several blocks and menus. Below, each section is discussed in terms of what you see there and what you can do.
Order and customer details
This block shows an overview of the customer data, the product ordered, the revenue generated from the instalment and the customer's payment method.
Via the pencil icons, you can change each section. ✏️
Customer data: change the name, email address or VAT ID of your customer, among other things.
Payment method: add a different IBAN with which the subscription is paid.
Using the arrow (
), you can view the instalment history.
All changes within an instalment are displayed here, including changes to the customer details and price, and who made them.
Actions
Change the next direct debit date, the remaining number of payments, the amount of the instalment, or add labels to categorise it.

If you click Price, you can adjust the price of future instalments here, as well as the VAT rate.
More
In the top right of your screen is the More button. Via the dropdown, you can make the same changes described under Order and customer details above. As an extra option, you can also delete the customer's instalment.
Invoices
This block shows all orders that have taken place within this instalment and how much revenue you've earned from it. Via the PDF button to the right of the status, you can download each individual PDF invoice.
Scheduled invoices
Here you'll find the remaining instalments and when they will be collected. You can adjust the number of remaining instalments and the price under the Actions block if needed.
History
The history shows a chronological overview of everything that has happened with the instalment. You can switch between three tabs.
Activities: Shows all events relating to the instalment, such as its activation. You can also add a note here.
Rules: Shows the integrations that have been triggered based on this instalment, such as webhooks or email integrations.
Notifications: Shows all notifications sent from Plug&Pay to the customer.
Affiliate commissions
Here you can see whether an affiliate has been linked to the instalment. Via Create, you manually add an affiliate. You can also remove a linked affiliate here. Read more about how the affiliate system in Plug&Pay works in the Affiliate collection.
