Written by Rens van Hout

In this article, you'll learn how an order in Plug&Pay is built up and which actions you can carry out from within an order.

Viewing an order

Navigate to Sales > Orders and click the invoice number to open the order.

Managing an order

You'll see that your order is made up of several blocks and menus. Below, each section is discussed in terms of what you see there and what you can do.

Invoice

The invoice shows an overview of the customer details, the product ordered and the total amount. From an invoice with the payment status Paid, you can carry out two actions here.

Credit: Use this to cancel the order and create a credit invoice. You can read more about that in the article Crediting an invoice.

More:

  • Edit details: Use this option to edit the customer details.

  • Copy address to..: Create a new order, a new subscription or a new instalment payment based on the details from the current order.

PDF invoice

In the top right of your screen is the PDF invoice button. Via the dropdown, you can download the invoice or email it directly to the customer. Read more about these options in the article Viewing and sending customer invoices.

Actions

Optionally adjust the payment status of your order here or add labels to the order to categorise it. Click Save to apply your changes.

Order details

The Order details block shows additional information about the order, such as the order ID, the checkout where it was paid, the payment method used and which terms were accepted at checkout.

History

The history shows a chronological overview of everything that has happened with the order. You can switch between three tabs.

Activities: Shows all events relating to the order, such as the creation, payment or failure of a direct debit. You can also add a note here.

Rules: Shows the rules that have been triggered based on this order, such as webhooks or email integrations.

Notifications: Shows all notifications sent from Plug&Pay to the customer.

Affiliate commissions

Here you can see whether an affiliate has been linked to the order. Through Create, you manually add an affiliate. You can also remove a linked affiliate here. Read more about how the affiliate system in Plug&Pay works in the Affiliate collection.
