Create a form in Plug&Pay to collect opt-ins or to request your customer's details. Link the forms to your email marketing provider or Huddle to build a fully automated funnel!
βΉοΈ With Plug&Pay, you can automatically create a form and link it to your landing page. Read more about this in our article below π
Using forms
Forms can be used in your online business in different ways:
Do you have a freebie, such as a free e-book?
Do you have a freebie, such as a free e-book?
Add a file to the form which is then automatically sent by email by Plug&Pay. This way, visitors will automatically receive your free e-book.
β
Do you use an email marketing software, such as ActiveCampaign? Integrate the software with Plug&Pay to collect email addresses from visitors. Warm up your leads with a profitable funnel!
Are you giving a webinar and want to easily collect your registrations?
Are you giving a webinar and want to easily collect your registrations?
The default sign-up pages in webinar software are often not set up to maximise conversion. A shame! Of course, you want as many sign-ups as possible. You can use the landing pages within Plug&Pay to create a sign-up page. Then use our Zapier integration to automatically forward the registrations in the form to your webinar software.
With the forms in Plug&Pay, you can request the relevant information from your visitors or customers, and you can automatically send a confirmation email with attachments or links.
Creating a form
You can create a form in your Plug&Pay account under Tools > Forms. Click on Create form to start.
Fill in the following details:
Title: the name of your form
Type: the type of form you use
Giveaway: upload your files or add links. These are added to the confirmation email
Action after submission: send your visitor to another page or show a thank-you message immediately
Redirect URL: this is the page you send the visitor to
Message: this message is displayed after filling in the form
β
βΉοΈ Landing pages created as Confirmation pages can be set as redirect URLs here
If you are using the form as an opt-in for a free giveaway, add a file. If you are collecting registrations for a webinar, enter the link to the webinar. Like the file, the links you add here will be shown in the confirmation email.
π‘Want to make more profit? Expand your funnel by offering a low-priced product on your confirmation page. Add a checkout to the clickable buttons, maybe even alongside an order bump. After payment, you can even add an upsell. This is how you turn a free product into paying customers!
Select input fields
Once you have created the form, you can determine which input fields are shown on the form.
You can add fields here, adjust the placeholder text and determine whether the fields are optional or required.
π‘ Tip: Don't use too many fields. Every additional field that people can fill in causes people to drop out. Yes, even if it is an optional field ;-). Make sure the threshold for leaving your details is as low as possible!
Confirmation email
Under the Email tab, you will find the settings for the confirmation email.
Choose whether you want Plug&Pay to send an email automatically after submission, or whether you want to do this yourself with your email marketing software. When you choose the Plug&Pay confirmation mail, the files and links you add here will be shown in the mail.
βΉοΈ You can edit the content of the confirmation emails
under Settings > Email templates
Do you prefer to use a proprietary software such as ActiveCampaign? Then set up the integration for this under the Integrations tab. Via Zapier, you can also have an action performed after a form is sent π
View submissions and export
When you have published the form on your landing page, it is of course time to view the submissions! Open the form and click on Submissions. Here you can see who completed your form, when and with which email address.
Click on the submitter's name to view the completed fields in detail.
Via the Export button you can export all submissions.
Integrations
Integrations allow you to make sure your form is the beginning of your funnel! You can integrate ActiveCampaign, Huddle and Zapier into your Plug&Pay. This allows you to automatically send an email from ActiveCampaign or assign an access level in Huddle after a form has been filled out.
