In this article, you'll learn how to link a form in Plug&Pay to ActiveCampaign. By setting up one or more rules, the submitter is added as a contact in ActiveCampaign (if they don't already exist there) and the associated action is carried out. This is useful for sending a freebie or confirmation email, or for keeping track of tags and lists.

Setting up the integration
To create the integration, navigate to the form in question and open the Rules tab. There, click Add rule.
Then configure the rule within the Add rule pop-up.
Name: Give the rule a recognisable name.
Trigger: Select the trigger Form Submitted; this is the only available option.
Integration type: Choose ActiveCampaign.
Action: Select the desired action. Below is an overview of the available options.
Add to list: Use this to add a contact to a list.
Remove from list: Remove a contact from a list.
Add tag: Add a tag to a contact.
Remove tag: Remove a tag from a contact.
Set field: Set a field that you've created in ActiveCampaign.
Add automation: Add a contact directly to an automation.
Remove automation: Remove a contact from an automation.
After clicking Create rule, the rule is shown in the overview and is activated straight away.
