With the one-click upsell in Plug&Pay, you can easily offer additional products to customers after their purchase, without them having to enter their payment details again. In this article, you'll learn how to link a created upsell to a checkout.
Upsells are available from Plug&Pay Premium. Using Plug&Pay Lite?
Upgrade to Premium or Ultimate to use this feature.
Adding an upsell to your checkout
Navigate to your checkout via Pages > Checkouts and click the 'Upsells' tab.
The flow of your checkout is shown visually here. Click the plus icon to link an existing upsell, or to create and link a new upsell.
If you choose 'Link existing upsell', select the upsell you've already created and click 'Save'.
The upsell is now added to your flow. Click 'Save' again on the right.
ℹ️ With Plug&Pay Premium you can add up to 2 upsells to your checkout, with Plug&Pay Ultimate up to 5.
When you've added multiple upsells or downsells, you can drag them to reorder.
❗️ SEPA Direct Debit or credit card must be enabled as a payment method in Mollie or Stripe in order to show the upsell to your customers.
Skipping remaining upsells
Has the customer not purchased one of your upsells? You can choose to have the customer skip the rest of the upsell flow and go straight to the confirmation page.

Testing the upsell
If everything has gone well, you've followed all the steps neatly and your upsell will be shown after a purchase on your checkout. To be sure, it's always a good idea to walk through the process yourself 🔎.
Open the checkout where the upsell has been added and place a test order.
It's important to mark your order as paid when testing, otherwise the upsell won't be shown.
My upsell isn't showing, why is that?
Have you walked through the upsell flow yourself, but your upsell isn't being shown? Run through the points below 👇
The upsell must be linked to your checkout
The product behind the upsell must have a price of at least 1 cent
You've activated 'SEPA Direct Debit' or 'credit card' with Mollie/Stripe
When placing the test order, you marked the payment status as paid
