You can add custom scripts with Plug&Pay, to load your own tracking tool on your checkouts or to load a Calendly widget on all your landing pages, for example.
Custom scripts can be set globally, or separately per page.
Custom scripts are part of Plug&Pay Premium & Ultimate. Are you using Plug&Pay Lite? Then upgrade to Premium or Ultimate to use this feature.
Global custom scripts
To set global custom scripts, navigate to Settings > Custom scripts.
You can enter a script for each section. You can add different scripts for your checkouts, upsells, confirmation pages and landing pages.
Add your script and save the page. The script will then be activated 🙌
❗️Please note: Make sure you know what the script is for, and that it is properly tested. Otherwise, the script could cause problems.
If we must restore a backup, we are forced to charge you €120 for this.
In addition, we cannot guarantee that every script is compatible with the security of your Payment Service Provider.
Global custom script for landing pages
For your landing pages, there is a more extensive option to add custom scripts. Click Add new script.
Give your script a recognisable name
Choose the location of the script (<head> or <body>)
Consult the source from which you get the script which is the best option.
Choose the type
Functional: Necessary for basic functions and does not measure data
Analytics: Collects anonymous data of user behaviour on your landing pages
Marketing: Collects tracking data from visitors on your website. Allows you to show relevant ads based on user behaviour.
Optimise for Google Pagespeed
On: your script is not loaded immediately, but your pages load faster
Off: your script is loaded immediately, but your pages load slower
Place your script in the field
Click Save to add your script to all your landing pages.
Custom scripts per page
For each page, you can also add a custom script separately. This is useful if you want to run your script on specific pages and not all of them.
Checkouts
Go to your checkout page and click on the Advanced tab. At the bottom, you can add your custom script.
Upsells
Go to your upsell and click on the Advanced tab. Under Custom script, you can add your script.
Confirmation pages
Go to your confirmation page and click on the General tab. Under Custom script, you can add your script.
Landing pages
Go to your landing page and click on Settings (the gear icon). Under Custom scripts, you can add your script.
