In this article, you'll read how to create promotion links for your affiliates. Plug&Pay automatically turns each one into a unique affiliate link, which your affiliates can then use to promote your sales pages and checkouts.

Creating a promotion link
Navigate to Affiliates > Settings > Promotion links. This is where you add the material your affiliates will use to sell your products: links to your website or to a specific page on it.
Click the Add promotion link button.
Choose a Type. The type is shown alongside the link in the affiliate dashboard, so your affiliates can quickly see where each link takes their audience.
Select a profile, enter the URL of the page and add a description. Click Save to add the link.
The pages you add are automatically included in the Redirect whitelist (Affiliates > Settings > Preferences). An affiliate cookie is only placed when someone is redirected to a domain that's in the redirect whitelist. If the customer later buys something on your website through another route, such as through Google, while the cookie is still valid, the affiliate still earns commission on that purchase.
ℹ️ You can also add websites other than your Plug&Pay here. Purchases do need to happen through your Plug&Pay checkouts for the affiliate to earn commission.
How affiliates use the links
Plug&Pay automatically generates a unique affiliate link from each of your promotion links. Your affiliates copy their link in the affiliate dashboard and share it on their platform of choice to promote you.
When a visitor clicks that affiliate link, an affiliate cookie is placed in their browser. If the visitor then buys a product from your Plug&Pay shop, the affiliate earns a commission.
