Overview of the components and actions within your customer's subscription in Plug&Pay

Written by Bryan Schoenmaker

In this article, you'll read how a customer's subscription in Plug&Pay is built up and which actions you can carry out from within a subscription.

Viewing a subscription

Navigate to Sales > Subscriptions and click the subscription number to open the subscription.

Editing a subscription

You'll see that your customer's subscription is made up of several blocks and menus. Below, each section is discussed in terms of what you see there and what you can do.

Subscription and customer data

This block shows an overview of the customer data, the product ordered, the revenue generated from the subscription and the customer's payment method.

Via the pencil icons, you can change each section. ✏️

  • Subscription: change the content of the subscription, such as the product, the interval or the price.

  • Customer data: change the name, email address or VAT ID of your customer, among other things.

  • Payment method: add a different IBAN with which the subscription is paid.

Using the arrow, you can view the subscription history.

All changes within a subscription are displayed here, including changes to the status and the price of the subscription, and who made them.

Actions

Optionally adjust the status of the subscription here, change the next direct debit date/end date or add labels to the subscription to categorise it. Click Save to apply your changes.

More

In the top right of your screen is the More button. Via the dropdown, you can make the same changes described under Subscription and customer data above. As an extra option, you can also delete the customer's subscription.

Invoices

This block shows all orders that have taken place within this subscription and how much revenue you've earned from this subscription. Via the PDF button to the right of the status, you can download each individual PDF invoice.

History

The history shows a chronological overview of everything that has happened with the subscription. You can switch between three tabs.

Activities: Shows all events relating to the subscription, such as activation or cancellation. You can also add a note here.

Rules: Shows the integrations that have been triggered based on this subscription, such as webhooks or email integrations.

Notifications: Shows all notifications sent from Plug&Pay to the customer.

Affiliate commissions

Here you can see whether an affiliate has been linked to the subscription. Via Create, you manually add an affiliate. You can also remove a linked affiliate here. Read more about how the affiliate system in Plug&Pay works in the Affiliate collection.
