As an entrepreneur it is crucial to always have insight into your statistics. By tracking your revenue, conversion rates, number of views and orders, you can quickly respond to opportunities and optimise your strategy. With Plug&Pay you have all this data easily at your fingertips.

1. The Plug&Pay Dashboard

The Plug&Pay dashboard displays all the key figures of your Plug&Pay site in one overview.

ℹ️ Orders with the status paid and pending are included.

In the top right you can select a period and optionally compare data with another period.

On the dashboard you will find the following information:

Revenue πŸ’°

The revenue you have generated today, this month, this year and in total is displayed in various cards. The chart shows the revenue achieved and the expected revenue (based on scheduled direct debits). The income window shows where your revenue is coming from. You can also filter here by subscriptions and instalment payments.

Products πŸ“¦

The five best-selling product (groups) are displayed here. If you sell subscriptions or instalment payments, you can view the MRR (monthly recurring revenue) of your product (groups) here.

Trials πŸ•°οΈ

The number of trial periods that have been started, renewed, and stopped in the given period.

Additional Revenue πŸ€‘

The additional revenue you have earned via order bumps and upsells.

Recent Orders πŸ’Έ

The five most recent orders placed on your shop.

Affiliates πŸ₯‡

Shows how much additional revenue your affiliates have generated for you and who the top 5 highest-earning affiliates are. Give them the recognition they deserve β˜€οΈ.

Pages and Traffic πŸ“ˆ

See here which pages score best on number of visitors, views and conversion. If you have created forms, you will also find the statistics of your forms here.

2. Statistics of Payment Pages

Via Pages > Payment pages you can see not only your created payment pages, but also the conversion rate and number of views of each page.

Open the payment page for more details, for example what percentage checked out with an order bump.

For more insights into the statistics of your entire funnel, go to Statistics > Pages via the left menu.

3. Statistics of Landing Pages

Information about the traffic to your landing pages - such as the number of views and opt-ins - can be found via Statistics > Pages in the left menu.

4. Viewing Statistics via 'Orders'

Another way to look at statistics is to filter your orders by product or product group.

To do this, go to Sales > Orders in the left menu. Here you will find both new orders and the recurring orders from subscriptions and instalment payments. You can use various filters to get to the data you need.

πŸ’‘ Tip: create an export of your filtered selection.

5. Statistics of Subscriptions

Just like with regular orders, you can also filter within subscriptions. You can access this via Sales > Subscriptions.

A commonly used way to quickly gain insight into all subscriptions is to filter by the status of a subscription.

There are 5 statuses within Plug&Pay that a subscription can have.

  • Active: an active subscription

  • Trial: a subscription currently in a trial period

  • Cancelled: a cancelled but still active subscription

  • Ended: a cancelled subscription with at least one paid invoice

  • Inactive: subscriptions that were never activated, for example due to an interrupted payment on the payment page

6. Statistics of Products

Just like with payment pages, you can find key figures in the product overview. Via Products in the left menu you can find the columns revenue, orders and subscriptions.

Open the product for more details, for example how many units have been ordered in total.

Examples of Statistics You Can Retrieve

  • Number of subscription cancellations
Go to the Dashboard and select the correct period. In the income card, click on Subscriptions.

  • How many subscriptions are currently active?
Go to Sales > Subscriptions and filter by status 'Active'. In the bottom right you will see the total number of results.

  • How many trials are currently active?
Go to Sales > Subscriptions and filter by status 'Trials'. Please note: trials that have already ended by the end of the period drop out of this overview. These have the status 'Cancelled'.

  • How many credits have taken place recently?
Go to Sales > Orders and select the correct period. Then choose status 'Credited'. You can optionally filter further by product.

My Sales Figures Don't Match What I See in My Mollie/Stripe Dashboard

It is possible that you see different figures in your Mollie/Stripe dashboard than in your Plug&Pay account. This can have the following reason:

  • Always check first that you are viewing the statistics for exactly the same period in both Mollie/Stripe and Plug&Pay. If there is a day's difference, that can of course affect the figures.

  • Please note that in Plug&Pay some statistics are converted to revenue per month.
For example: in Plug&Pay you see the statistic 'Recurring Revenue' showing €1,000. This amount can also consist of annual subscriptions that have already been charged in full at Mollie/Stripe for a whole year, but which in Plug&Pay is calculated as recurring monthly revenue. Payments from quarterly subscriptions, annual subscriptions and annual payments are converted back to a monthly revenue figure in Plug&Pay. That is therefore a different type of statistic.

Consider the Mollie/Stripe dashboard as the dashboard where you can find exactly what has been deposited into your account in the past period. Consider Plug&Pay as the source for your actual sales data. Make a clear distinction between the two for yourself to avoid drawing incorrect conclusions.
