Sales Boosters

Under Content > Sales boosters on your Checkout, you'll find all the widgets and notifications you can set up.

There are two different types of sales boosters:

  • Widgets

  • Notifications

Below, I'll take you through each feature, what it does and why you should use it to increase your sales πŸ“ˆ

Widgets

πŸ“¦ Stock

By emphasising that only a limited number of items are available, you encourage visitors to act quickly and make their purchase. You can choose from three variants:

  • In stock

  • Limited stock

  • Exact stock (Still ... available)

If you want to show your exact stock, you will first need to set the stock level for your product. You can do this for your product by going to General > Stock and setting a stock here.

⏱️ Delivery time

Also useful for your physical products; indicate when your customer can expect their order! Fast delivery times have a positive impact on your conversion rate.

πŸ’― Number of sales

Display the total number of sales of your product on your checkout to convince your visitors! You can choose to show the total number of sales here, or by displaying a progress bar. The progress bar is available when you limit the stock of your product. This can create extra urgency for your visitor when the progress bar is almost at 100%.

🟒 Live visitor count

This widget shows how many people are currently on your checkout page. This sales booster never hurts to enable on your checkouts; after all, it is only shown when there is at least 1 person.

This widget can be used even more strongly in combination with limited stock and number of sales to add to the sense of scarcity!

⏳ Countdown

Again, a way to make visitors act faster, but this time by creating a sense of urgency. By setting a limited time limit, orders are placed faster for fear of missing out on the offer.

You set a deadline; this is the date and time your checkout will go offline. Don't forget to set a redirect URL - this is the URL your visitor will be redirected to after 5 seconds, if they land on the β€œexpired” checkout page. You could use a redirect to redirect your visitor to your product's regular checkout page.

Notifications

With Plug&Pay Premium & Ultimate, you have access to all notification types.
With Plug&Pay Lite, you only have access to the Reminder tab.

πŸ›’ FOMO Frenzy

Make your product irresistible and make your visitors feel like they can't be left behind. Nobody wants to be FOMO-Frenzy right? (Fear Of Missing Out)

Recent purchases are displayed via a pop-up at the bottom left of your checkout.

πŸ”₯ Bandwagon effect

Most people want to be part of something. If dozens, hundreds, or even thousands have already bought your product, what is holding your visitor back? Use this powerful social proof notification to give them that final nudge.

Recent purchases are displayed via a pop-up at the bottom left of your checkout.

πŸ”” Reminder tab

A visitor may get distracted during the checkout process and leave your checkout page. Make sure your future customer returns quickly to finish paying by setting up a tab notification!

Example? πŸ‘‡

πŸ›‘ Exit intent

An exit intent pop-up is the ideal way to keep visitors on your website and checkouts. This pop-up appears when a visitor wants to leave the page.
