A direct connection between Plug&Pay and ActiveCampaign/Mailblue ensures that you can automatically add your customers to your email system!

For example, you can:

  • Ensure that a customer automatically receives the free lead magnet by email

  • Ensure that a customer immediately receives information after signing up for a webinar or event

  • Ensure that you always have an up-to-date overview of your customers in ActiveCampaign/Mailblue using tags/lists

In this article you will read how to connect a form to MailBlue. Of course, you first need to have created a form.

Creating the connection

You create the connection by going to Tools > Forms > Relevant form > Rules.

Setting up the connection

When you click Add rule, a pop-up will open:

  • Add a name for your rule

  • Set a trigger. In this case you can only choose Form submitted.

  • Action: select ActiveCampaign and determine the action. Below I explain which actions are available and what you can do:

    • Add to list: add a contact to a list

    • Remove from list: remove a contact from a list

    • Add tag: assign a tag to your contact

    • Remove tag: remove the tag from your contact

    • Set field: select a custom field you have created in MailBlue

    • Add to automation: add a contact directly to an automation

    • Remove from automation: remove a contact from the automation

When you save, the rules you have set will be shown in the overview.

In the example above, the customer is added to the list List: Testlist when the form is submitted. The contact also receives the tag Test.
